The International Short Competition section, which has restructured version of Kids Creative, screens short films from around the world, selected through a preliminary screening process. This year, 9 Korean films and 7 foreign films were selected. Each film—centered around the theme of 'children'—dives into different formats and genres while staying faithful to the perspective and language of children. The 16 competing films in the main event are notable not only for their bold direction in tackling solitude, relational anxiety, and issues of identity faced in the process of growth but also for their keen awareness of societal views and systemic deficiencies regarding children.
