Newly introduced this year, 'Small Wonders' is a section created especially for children and families to enjoy together. The program features three feature films and six short films, each delivering heartfelt stories that resonate equally with elementary school children and their parents. <Atlas of the Universe>follows a child who accidentally buys mismatched sneakers and embarks on an unexpected journey to find the missing shoe. In <Extraordinary>, a lively and heartwarming adventure unfolds as a young protagonist, who has never truly understood their autistic older brother, joins forces with neighborhood friends to rescue their parents from danger. Along the way, the siblings rediscover their bond. <Mira>tells the story of a young girl swept up in the excitement of her friends' first romances, prompting her to reconsider the nature of her own long-standing friendship. Together, these films remind us how wonderfully different the world can appear through a child's eyes. The accompanying short film program includes outstanding works, among them animations created by children themselves, as well as films that sensitively capture the emotional landscapes of childhood. We hope audiences will enjoy not only watching these films together as a family, but also sharing conversations inspired by the stories long after the credits roll.
