Founded in 1996, Germany's SCHLiNGEL International Film Festival has spent nearly three decades introducing audiences to the richness and diversity of world cinema through its carefully curated programs. Renowned for both the breadth and depth of its programming, SCHLiNGEL has established itself as one of Europe's leading festivals dedicated to films for children and young audiences. For the 14th Seoul International Children's Film Festival, we are delighted to present a special exchange program in collaboration with SCHLiNGEL. The showcase features the festival's handpicked selection of outstanding German children's films, including the feature <The Secret Floor> ​and eleven short films. Michael Harbauer, Festival Director of SCHLiNGEL International Film Festival, will also join us in Seoul to introduce this special program in person. Through this festival exchange, audiences will have the opportunity to experience both the rich tradition and the vibrant present of German children's cinema.​
