Gugu’s World
Twelve-year-old Gugu dreams of becoming a professional soccer player and grows up under the loving care of his grandmother, Dilma, the one person who accepts him for who he is. But when her health begins to fail, Gugu is left to care for her on his own. As the only source of stability in his life begins to slip away, he finds himself facing an increasingly unforgiving world. Even in the face of prejudice and hardship, Gugu fights with all his strength to protect the one place where he can truly be himself.
