KIM Damin
Film Director
After graduating from the department of film directing at Korea Animation High School, KIM Damin majored in psychology and cultural anthropology at Yonsei University. In 2020, she wrote and directed the invited film £¼Ungbi and Non-human Friends£¾ at the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival and Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. Subsequently, in 2024, she wrote the screenplay for the Netflix original series £¼A Killer Paradox£¾. In the same year, she won the Aurora Media Award at the Busan International Film Festival and the Best Screenplay Award at the Wildflower Film Awards Korea for her first feature film, £¼FAQ£¾.
JOO Youshin
Assistant Professor of Youngsan University
JOO Youshin has been teaching film theory and criticism, film history, and screenwriting at Youngsan University in Busan. She has also served as a member of the Korean Film Council. Over the years, she has worked as a programmer for the Seoul International Women's Film Festival and as the chief programmer for the Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival. Additionally, she directed three documentaries on key figures in Korean film history for the Busan International Film Festival. In 2017, she published a book titled ¡ºCinefeminism: 13 Ways of Viewing Films from a Female Perspective.¡»
Nijitaro
Programming Director & Animator
Nijitaro (born in 1976 in Japan) - Programming Director at Kineko International Film Festival, graphic designer, animator and illustrator. His short animations were aired on CS broadcast and in-flight on international flights (ANA, All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd.). His works cover many fields of computer graphics, including digital books for children. He also teaches at the Department of Imaging Arts and Science, Musashino Art University in Tokyo.

Film Director
BAEK Seunghwa wrote and directed the screenplays for films such as £¼Queen of Walking£¾, £¼Omok Girl£¾, and the web drama £¼Plant Life£¾. For several years now, he has been steadily writing novels.
BAEK Jaeho
Chairperson of the Board of KIFV
BAEK Jaeho began his career in the film industry with the role of a bodyguard warrior in the movie £¼A Frozen Flower£¾. Afterward, he transitioned into acting in films, theater, and dramas, before venturing into film production with fellow actor friends. He directed £¼We Will Be Ok£¾, £¼The Goose Goes South£¾, £¼Citizen Roh£¾, and £¼Though the Rose has Withered£¾, and produced films such as £¼Santa Barbara£¾, £¼Jane£¾, £¼Snowball£¾, and £¼Moments of Role£¾. Since 2024, he has been serving as the chairperson of the Korean Independent Film and Video.
SONG Cheehwa
Scriptwriter of KBS1
SONG Cheehwa is the planner and scriptwriter for the program £¼KBS IndieFilm£¾, which airs on KBS 1TV. She has also planned various film-related programs such as £¼Korean Cinema Classics£¾, £¼100 Years of Korean Cinema: The Classics£¾, and £¼Documentary World£¾. Her efforts are particularly focused on promoting Korean independent films.

PARK Jaebeom
Representative of Yona Animation Studio
PARK Jaebeom is a director and the representative of Yona Animation Studio, as well as a professor specializing in animation at the Korean Academy of Film Arts. He planned, wrote, and directed the feature-length animation £¼Mother Land£¾(2022). Additionally, he was responsible for the planning, writing, directing, and production of the short animation £¼Big Fish£¾(2017).
LEE Jihyun
Representative of Long Metrage Film
Born in 1978, LEE Jihyun graduated with a PhD from the Department of Theater and Film at Hanyang University. She debuted as a film critic by winning the 13th Cine 21 Film Critic Award and is actively working as a critic. She is also the CEO of Longmetragefilm production. Her works include the documentary £¼Winter Garden£¾(2014), the media art £¼70mK-Just simply Korea£¾(2018), the feature film £¼Mornings of the World£¾(2020), and the documentary £¼Along The Frontlines£¾(2021).

LEE Dongyun
Programmer of SciFian Festa
LEE Dongyun studied film directing, screenwriting, and film theory at the Korea National University of Arts. He wrote the screenplays for the independent films £¼Pruning the Grapevine£¾(2007) and £¼Oishii Man£¾(2008). He was the chief editor for the publication series ¡ºHistory of Korean Queer Cinema¡» in collaboration with the Seoul International Pride Film Festival. After serving as a programmer for the Chuncheon Film Festival, he is now a programmer for the SciFian Festa. Additionally, he continues to engage in creative activities focusing on film criticism, screenwriting, and film directing.
CHAI HeeSuk
Instructor, Major in World Culture and Arts Management of HUFS
CHAI Heesuk received her Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film at Chung-Ang University with the dissertation £¼Cinema as 'Becoming Other' and Production of Truth: Cinema-Verite of Kim Dong-ryeong, Park Gyeong-tae and Pedro Costa£¾. She worked as a programmer at the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival from 2022 to 2023. She is involved in the Critics Division of the Association of Korean Independent Film & Video, as well as in 'commons' studies & practices.
CHOI Yujin
Festival Director at Indie-AniFest
CHOI Yujin graduated from University with a Bachelor of History and obtained her master degree of Business Administration in Cultural Studies in 2007. As a professional, Yujin had been invited as committee member of several film festivals and writes article and report regularly. She was general manager of Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers Association from 2007 to 2023. She is festival director of Indie-AniFest from 2017.
